Summer's Gone

So, it's been almost an entire year since I've updated this thing. I was wondering why that was. I don't think my life has been THAT unexciting for a year, but it is very true that it hasn't been very productive.
I think I wrote blogs so frequently was because of my ROP classes. While I should have been working I'd just type up my thoughts, talk about the things I've been up to.
Not that it's very surprising, but I never got my diploma. I'm not whining or asking for pity, it was expected from everyone, and everyone who expected a different outcome, I'm really sorry and thank you for all the support.
And it's not a totally big deal for me. I was just trying to make goals for myself to help motivate me.
At first it was graduating on stage...I tried to get that goal done by June 2007 and that didn't work. So I figured I'd get all my credits by June 2008 and I could just get my diploma then. That was my last deadline. I didn't make it. So I was trying to get my GED done by this month, but I forgot to learn some math. So I don't know how long it's going to take me to procrastinate and get that goal trampled. I hate math and I forget anything I learn about it two hours later. So...hopefully...I don't know. I hate documenting my goals, I just look back later and get very upset.
Surprisingly, I've been working at Office Depot since mid January. That's like 8 months with a steady job! I think I'm getting fired, soon, though due to poor attendance. Poor attendance has been my problem since 7th grade, you think I would have gotten over it by now...but no.
I haven't even been going to concerts lately due to lack of legal car and funds.
I was able to go to San Diego Comic-Con again this year. It was lovely, although we didn't see any panels again. We just hung out in the exhibit hall. One night we took the trolley to a local mall movie theater and saw The Dark Knight and took a taxi cab ride back to motel. That was somewhat thrilling...
I finished writing my script. In May I had hoped to finish the script by late June and film after Comic Con [which was July 27thish]. I finished the script around the 8 or 7th of August. I was able to film the opening scene but [even though I have yet to see the footage] I hear the sound isn't too good. And my main objective for this movie was to make it GOOD. My actors didn't really understand my script, so I don't know...just didn't go well. I'll wait until everyone is available again and hopefully I'll be better at DIRECTING. I was being a lazy bitch rather than a director. Sorry 'boot that.
I need excitement.
